This Syrah-Grenache blend is truly a wine with great focus on the fruit. Fermented separately in three different lots: Syrah, Grenache, and a Syrah-Grenache co-fermented lot. By fermenting and aging all three lots separately, the final blend has dark notes and tobacco from the Syrah, red beauty and depth from the Grenache, and a rich silky-smoky component of the co-fermented lot. Enjoy this wine with a meaty stew, or roasted lamb with rosemary and thyme. The full flavors of the Syrah-Grenache will balance the richness of the lamb. This wine will age well but is intended to be enjoyed in the next several years.
